Quick drying -contains a special black pigment for good covering.
Preparation: surface must be clean, smooth, dry, free from wax and dust.
Wax polish previously applied can be removed with white spirit, steel wool and a clean
rag. Existing paint on the surface needs sanding to provide a key and then wipe down and allow to dry.
Application: use a good quality brush, apply paint evenly.  Two coats is usually sufficient.
Drying Time: 30 minutes depending on temperature or humidity. Don’t apply outdoors if rain is imminent.
Re-coating Time: 4 hours between coats or overnight, depending on temperature/humidity.
Temp: 15-25°C. don’t use below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity or if rain is imminent.
Coverage: 14 sq. metres per litre, per coat, depending on absorbency of surface.
Maintenance: re-apply when surface becomes worn.
Compatibility: can be applied over most paints, test for compatibility before applying.
STIR WELL BEFORE USE.
Shelf-life/Storage: it will last many years if stored in original, tightly closed container in normal conditions.
Hazards: keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. After contact
with skin wash immediately with plenty of soap and water.

Rustins Quick Dry Varnish is a water-based self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion.
The varnish looks milky-white whilst liquid but dries to a hard, durable transparent finish, resistant to water and alcohol. Available in clear satin and matt finish.

Intended Use:
The varnish can be used on interior, bare woodwork, cork, hardboard.
It can also be used as a sealer for concrete, brickwork and plaster.
The varnish has low odour, it’s quick-drying and non-yellowing on ageing.
Brushes can be washed water.
Has very little effect on the colour of wood to which it is applied.
Conforms to Safety of Toys Regulations BS EN 71 Part 3 1995.

Préparation :

Surfaces must be clean and previous coatings should be removed with Rustin’s Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper.
It is advisable to clean old surfaces with White Spirit to remove any wax or contamination, wipe away the solution formed with clean kitchen paper towels.

Application :

A synthetic brush, Varnish Roller or Spray (can be diluted with water about 10% if necessary for spraying, or if the temperature is high).
Apply 2 or 3 coats.
Lightly sand after 1st coat to flatten any raised grain.

Drying Time:

Touch dry in 20 minutes typically, depending on temperature and humidity.
Re-coat after 2 hours.
Application Temperature:
Ideally 15-25°C, do not use below 10°C or in conditions of high humidity.
Couverture :
12-15sq.metres/litre per coat, depending on absorbency of the surface.

Maintenance:

The varnish will take 3 days to fully harden.
Spills should be wiped-up immediately during this time to prevent damage.
The surface can be cleaned as required with a mild detergent solution, do not use aggressive cleaning products.
Re-coat the varnish as necessary, after cleaning with sugar soap and lightly sanding the surface.

Stir well before use.
Satin and Matt finishes may dry glossy if not thoroughly stirred, check for settlement on the bottom of the tin and stir to mix-in.
Shelf-life/Storage:
Many years if stored in normal conditions. Protect from frost.

Satin and Matt finishes may dry glossy if not thoroughly stirred, check for settlement on the bottom of the tin and stir to mix-in.

Special Features – One Coat Damp Seal is quick drying and can be over coated with gloss or emulsion paint as well as wall paper.
It does not cure damp but allows trapped moisture to escape.

Intended Use:

Chalky Finish Paint is water based, so is quick drying.
It has low odour.
You can wash your brushed and rollers in water.
It has excellent covering power.
