PREPARATION:
New Surfaces:
Surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied.
Porous surfaces should be coated with a ‘mist’ coat of Crown Trade Silk Vinyl diluted with 40% of clean water.
Previously Decorated Surfaces:
Surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied.
Remove loose, failing or suspect paint.
Fill holes, cracks and shallow surface defects with a filler.
Wash paint with hot water and sugar soap to remove any contaminants.
Glossy or eggshell surfaces should be wet abraded to provide a key.
Rinse with clean water.
Allow to dry.
COATING SYSTEM:
Apply two coats as required.
Certain colours may require additional coats to give complete obliteration.
Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8ºC.
Relative humidity must be below 80% during application and the drying period.
APPLICATION:
Stir well before use.
Apply with a brush Cervus or a medium pile roller.
For airless spray (dilution may be required).
CLEANING:
Return surplus material to the container.
Wash brushes and rollers with clean water immediately after use.
