Sandtex Trade – Flexible Primer Undercoat – White – 1L & 2.5L
A high performance flexible primer undercoat providing the ideal base for long lasting Eggshell finish on interior & exterior wood.
Durée de séchage:
In good conditions, touch dry after six hours and recoatable after sixteen – twenty-four hours.
Previous coat must be fully dry before another application.
Couverture :
12-15m² per litre depending on the surface texture.
Conditions météorologiques :
Don’t apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8ºC or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period.

Abraser légèrement sur une surface brillante (non polie) - à l’exclusion des surfaces galvanisées.
Lavez à l’eau chaude et Savon de sucre to remove oil, grease or any other contaminants, then rinse thoroughly with clean water, allow the surface to dry, and prime.

Les surfaces doivent être saines, propres, convenablement sèches et exemptes de tout ce qui pourrait interférer avec l’adhérence des matériaux à appliquer.
Rub down with a suitable grade of abrasive paper and round sharp edges to a 1-3mm radius, remove all dust.
Timber with oils or extractives must be swabbed with clean methylated spirits, frequently changing the face of the cloth.
Treat knots with two coats of knotting and fill any fixing holes, open joints and shallow surface defects with a filler.
Apply the primer undercoat.
Bois précédemment décoré :
Toutes les surfaces doivent être saines, propres, convenablement sèches et exemptes de tout ce qui pourrait interférer avec l’adhérence des matériaux à appliquer.
Remove all loose, failing or suspect paint, also remove grey and denatured surfaces by rubbing down with abrasive paper and feather edges of sound paint.
Remove all dust, and any defective putty glazing.
Clean and prime rebates, aiso replacement putties must be allowed to form a hard skin before being painted.
Treat knots with two thin coats of knotting and fill any fixing holes, cracks and shallow surface defects with a filler.
Wash remaining sound paint with hot water and a liquid detergent solution to remove any contaminants.
Wet abrade to provide a key, rinse with clean water to remove all residues and allow to dry.
APPLICATION :
Mélangez bien avant et pendant l’utilisation.
Apply using good quality tools – a synthetic or bristle brush or a short/medium pile roller and maintain a wet edge.
NETTOYAGE :
Return surplus material to container.
Wash tools and equipment with White Spirit immediately after use.
STOCKAGE :
Rangez-le bien et en sécurité.
Conserver dans un endroit sec et sûr, inaccessible aux enfants ou aux animaux.
Les conteneurs doivent être gardés fermés pendant le stockage.
