Rustins – High Heat Black Paint 250ml\u00a0 500ml.<\/p>\n

Solvent based,\u00a0 Silicone Alkyd High Heat Paint.<\/p>\n

Intended Use:<\/strong>
\nThe paint is only suitable for use on ferrous metals, such as wood burning stoves, barbeques, domestic and industrial stoves, furnace chimneys, grates and exhausts.<\/h4>\n

Special Features<\/strong> – A fast drying, protective and decorative paint suitable for temperatures of up to 600\u00b0 C<\/h4>\n

Preparation:<\/strong>
\nThe surface must be clean, dry and free from grease, dust rust and other contaminants.
\nRemove all rust with a scrapper.<\/h4>\n

Application:<\/strong>
\nStir well before use until there is no sediment on the bottom of the tin.
\nApply with a bristle paint brush.
\nThe paint may be sprayed but may require dilution with Xylene Thinners.<\/h4>\n

Coats<\/strong> – Only one light coat should be applied.
\nIf a heavy coat or more than one coat is applied it is possible that the paint will flake from the surface.<\/p>\n

Drying Time<\/strong> – The surface will be touch dry within 15 minutes and can be handled in 1 hour in good
\nconditions.
\nThe painted article if air dried will become fully cured once it has been heated up to between 200 – 220\u00b0 C for approximately 20 minutes.
\nRe-coating Time<\/strong> –\u00a0 The paint should not be recoated.
\nApplication Temp.<\/strong> – Ideally 15-25\u00b0C. Do not use below 10\u00b0C, or in conditions of high humidity.
\nCoverage<\/strong> –\u00a0 15 sq metres\/litre per coat depending type of application and surface.
\nMaintenance<\/strong> –\u00a0 The previous coat will need to be removed if recoating becomes necessary.
\nSettlement<\/strong> – Stir well before use.<\/p>\n

Shelf-life\/Storage:<\/strong>
\nThe shelf life of the product is 2 years.
\nIt is preferable to store the product in a cool place.
\nIt is important to replace the lid and ensure an airtight seal after use.
\nNOTE: The product may be used after shelf life has expired but should first be checked to ensure that there is no deterioration
\nof quality.<\/h4>\n
