Chalky Finish Paint – Formulated with water borne acrylic emulsion, pigments and extenders to provide excellent opacity and a smooth chalky surface feel.<\/p>\n

\nChalky Finish Paint is water based, so is quick drying.
\nIt has low odour.
\nYou can wash your brushed and rollers in water.
\nIt has excellent covering power.
\nOne coat is usually sufficient to completely cover previously painted surfaces giving a smooth chalky matt finish to an article.
\nPriming and sanding may not be necessary on some substrates.<\/p>\n
Preparation:
\nSurfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free from wax, grease and contaminants, so as not to spoil the finished look.<\/p>\n
Application:
\nWhen using the Chalky Finish Paint, apply liberally and evenly with a synthetic short fibre brush or roller for a smooth looking finish.
\nFor brush application, the primer coat may be thinned by mixing 5 parts paint, with 1 part water if necessary.<\/p>\n
Coats – At least 1 coat over primed surfaces.
\nA minimum of 2 coats are required on bare substrates though.
\nDrying Time –\u00a0 Touch dry within 30 minutes, depending on temperature and humidity.
\nRe-coating Time – 2 hours minimum, depending on temperature and humidity.
\nApplication Temp. – Ideally 15-25\u00b0C.
\nDo not use below 10\u00b0C or in conditions of high humidity.
\nCoverage –\u00a0 Approximately 13 sq.m per litre, 1 coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface.
\nMaintenance _ Wash with damp cloth.
\nSettlement – STIR WELL BEFORE USE.
\nEnsure any sediment is thoroughly mixed in.
\nShelf-life\/Storage – Many years in a cool, dry place if stored in original, tightly closed container.
\nDo not store below 5\u00b0C.
\nProtect from frost and extremes of temperature.
\nClean-Up – Clean brushes and hands immediately after use with water.<\/p>\n
