Crown Trade – Matt Vinyl – 2.5L – White, a premium quality matt emulsion for use on interior walls and ceilings where a flat non-reflective finish is required.
For interior use only.
Don’t apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 8ºC or when the relative humidity is above 80% during application or the drying period, as these conditions could affect how the paint adheres to the walls.
PREPARATION:
New Surfaces:
All surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials.
Porous surfaces should be coated with a ‘mist’ coat of Matt Vinyl diluted with 40% clean water.
Surfaces must be sound, clean, suitably dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be applied e.g. dirt, grease etc.
Remove all loose, failing or suspect paint, fill any fixing holes, cracks and shallow surface defects with a filler.
Patch prime bare, filled and powdery areas as described above.
Wash remaining sound paint with hot water and Sugar Soap to remove any contaminants, frequently changing the water.
Any glossy or eggshell surfaces should be wet abraded to provide a key before painting.
Rinse with clean water and allow to dry.
COATING SYSTEM:
Apply two or more coats, as certain colours may require additional coats to give complete obliteration.
APPLICATION:
Stir well before,and during use, apply using good quality tools, like a synthetic brush or a medium pile roller.
If using an airless spray, dilution may be required.
CLEANING:
Return any surplus material to container and wash your tools & equipment with clean water or warm soapy solution immediately after use.
STORAGE:
Store upright and secure and store in secure dry conditions inaccessible to children or animals.
Containers should be kept closed during storage.
Don’t store in a place where the temperature may drop below 5ºC or go above 40ºC.
